Many choices

If you choose to become a police officer the first place they put every officer is in patrol. The first promotion is to become either a Detective or a Sergeant.  But there are many other specialized assignments such as SWAT, motorcycle officers, horseback officers, divers, helicopter pilots, public information officers, K-9 units, and bike officers. There are all these jobs and still many more choices.

Because what Chris Dorner did Chief Beck reviewed his file about why he was fired so the public could have confidence in the department and because of that other Ex-LAPD officers are requesting the reopening of their termination cases. Also after they said he was dead people would post that he was still alive. I think what he did is going to cause other problems as well.

This is my first time blogging so I'll say right now what I'll be talking about on my blog. It will mainly be talking about LAPD and the work of LAPD. Right now I will talk about what it takes to be in LAPD. To join the academy you have to be at least be 21 years old. You have to graduate from a U.S. High school and you have to be a citizen of this country or a permanent resident. They will also check your backround check if you have had a lawful history of everything including your financial and driving records. As well as have a history of responsible choices with alcohol and drugs and have good attitude toward the diversity of Los Angeles. Have a high standard of honesty and integity.
